2009 Mangan Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc Semillon
The fruit for this wine, which comprises 60% Semillon and 40% Sauvignon Blanc was picked at Baumés ranging from 10 to 11.4˚. Twenty five percent of the wine was barrel fermented, all of which was Sauvignon Blanc, a variety that benefits from such maturation. The fruit freshness of the Semillon was retained by fermenting this variety in stainless steel tanks.
